The online event will set the stage for the HLTV fantasy game's Spring season.

The first event of the year featuring top-flight teams, FunSpark ULTI 2021 Finals, marks the beginning of a new season of HLTV's fantasy game, which will have $10,100 in prizes for the 10 highest ranked users come July.

The FunSpark ULTI 2021 Finals game will also have prizes of its own, like all other HLTV fantasy games, in the form of skins for the top three performers. This time around the prizes, courtesy of BitSkins, are:

1. Shadow Daggers | Crimson Web (Field-Tested)
2. AK-47 | Bloodsport (Field-Tested)
3. AWP | BOOM (Field-Tested)

Users will be able to choose players from some of the best teams in the world, including top 5 team Gambit and top 10 teams Astralis and Entropiq, while North Americans will be able to show their pride choosing players from Extra Salt's quintet.

Only the most competitive events will be part of the season and award season points, so users don't have to compete in every single event if they aim to win the prize, but they must perform well in those that feature the world's best teams, such as the aforementioned FunSpark ULTI 2021 Finals. Events that don't offer points will be clearly marked.

Users will be ranked by the percentile they finish in at every event, in hopes of becoming the next Daniel "1danne1"Sonesson, who claimed the winner-takes-all $10,000 prize from the first season. This time around the prize pool will be divided among the top finishers, however, with the champion taking the $5,000 lion's share.

The ranking point distribution is the following:

Top 1% - 25 points
Top 3% - 18 points
Top 5% - 15 points
Top 10% - 12 points
Top 15% - 10 points
Top 25% - 8 points
Top 40% - 6 points
Top 50% - 4 points
Top 60% - 2 points
Top 70% - 1 point

This season's fantasy prize pool is:

1. $5,000
2. $2,000
3. $1,000
4-10. $300
